Front Floor Console Replacement Notchback

Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1721750 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the gearshift lever boot, if equipped.

    3. Object Number: 1721757 Size: SH
  3. Remove the screws from the floor console.
  4. Remove the floor console cover.
  5. Remove the parking brake cover.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  7. Remove the floor console.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1721757 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the floor console with the screws.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the floor console screws to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  3. Install the parking brake cover.
  4. Install the floor console cover.

    5. Object Number: 1721750 Size: SH
  5. Install the gearshift lever boot, if equipped.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.

Front Floor Console Replacement Hatchback

Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the gearshift lever boot.

    3. Object Number: 1248490 Size: SH
  3. Remove the screws from the floor console.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  5. Remove the floor console.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1248489 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the floor console with the screws.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the floor console screws to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  3. Install the gearshift lever boot.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
