Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1371864 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the intake manifold tuning (IMT) valve actuator valve.

    2. Note: Ensure the IMT valve is closed before removing the IMT valve actuator retaining bolts and valve.

  2. Remove the IMT valve actuator valve bolts.
  3. Remove the IMT valve actuator valve from the IMT valve.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1371864 Size: SH
  1. Install the IMT valve actuator valve to the IMT valve.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the IMT valve actuator valve bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the IMT valve actuator valve retaining bolts to 12 N·m (106 lb ft).

  3. Connect the vacuum hose to the IMT valve actuator valve.
