Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 2001806 Size: SH
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Loosen the charge air cooler inlet pipe clamp (1).
  3. Remove the charge air cooler inlet pipe (2) from the charge air cooler (3).

    4. Object Number: 2016295 Size: SH
  4. Loosen the charge air cooler clamp (1).
  5. Remove the charge air cooler inlet pipe (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2016295 Size: SH

    Important: Remove any oil film from inside the pipes.

  1. Install the charge air cooler pipe (2) and tighten the charge air cooler inlet pipe clamp.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the charge air cooler inlet pipe (2) to the charge air cooler (3).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the clamp to 5 N·m (44 lb in).
