J 45059 Angle Meter

Important: Do not use any sealing material.

1. Install the cylinder head gasket to the block.
2. Install the cylinder head. Ensure the number 1 cylinder is at top dead center (TDC). The key on the crankshaft should be on top in the 12 o'clock position.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.





Important: Always use NEW cylinder head bolts.

3. Install the cylinder head bolts.

Tighten

•	Tighten the bolts in sequence to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

•	Tighten the bolts an additional 155 degrees in sequence using the J 45059 .




4. Install the front cylinder head bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the cylinder head bolts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).
