Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1587820 Size: SH
  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement.
  2. Reposition the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose clamp at the resonator.
  3. Remove the PCV hose from the resonator.
  4. Loosen the air cleaner outlet duct/resonator clamps at the air cleaner cover and the throttle body.
  5. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct/resonator from the air cleaner cover and the throttle body.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1587820 Size: SH
  1. Install the air cleaner outlet duct/resonator to the air cleaner cover and the throttle body.
  2. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct/resonator clamps at the air cleaner cover and the throttle body.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the clamps to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  3. Install the PCV hose to the resonator.
  4. Position the PCV hose clamp.
  5. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement.
