Removal Procedure
Important: Removal of the intake manifold is NOT required
to service the coolant air bleed pipe, but is required to service the coolant air
bleed pipe covers and/or gaskets.
- Drain a gallon of coolant. Refer to 
Cooling System Draining and Filling.
 
- Remove the throttle air body assembly. Refer to 
Throttle Body Assembly Replacement.
 
- Remove the coolant air bleed hose (4).
 
- Remove the coolant air bleed pipe mounting bolts (3).
 
- Remove the coolant air bleed pipe (1) and O-rings (2).
 
Installation Procedure
- Position the coolant air bleed pipe (1) and O-rings
(2) on the cylinder heads.
 
- Install the mounting bolts (3) for the coolant air bleed pipe (1).
 
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 12 N·m (106 lb in).
- Install the coolant air bleed hose (4).
 
- Install the throttle air body assembly. Refer to 
Throttle Body Assembly Replacement.
 
- Fill the cooling system. Refer to 
Cooling System Draining and Filling.
