Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution in the Preface section.

    Caution: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the rear wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.

    3. Object Number: 1986583 Size: SH
  3. Remove the rear wheelhouse liner to rocker moulding retaining screws (1).
  4. Remove the rear wheelhouse liner to vehicle push-in retainers (2).

    5. Object Number: 1986585 Size: SH
  5. Remove the rear wheelhouse liner to rear bumper fascia push-in retainers (2).
  6. Carefully pry the rear wheelhouse liner from the vehicle using a suitable tool.
  7. Remove the rear wheelhouse liner (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Position the rear wheelhouse liner (1) to the vehicle.

    2. Object Number: 1986585 Size: SH
  2. Install the rear wheelhouse liner to rear bumper fascia push-in retainers (2).

    3. Object Number: 1986583 Size: SH
  3. Install the rear wheelhouse liner to rocker moulding retaining screws (1).

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Tighten the rear wheelhouse liner to rocker moulding retaining screws (1).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. install the rear wheelhouse liner to vehicle push-in retainers (2).
  6. Install the rear wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
