Sunroof Wiring Harness Replacement Existing Motor

1. Place the sunshade in the full forward position.
2. Remove the headlining trim finish panel as necessary. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.



3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the following components:

3.1.	The sunroof control switch

3.2.	The sunroof express module

3.3.	The sunroof motor

3.4.	The headliner electrical harness

Important: 

•	Note the location of the wiring harness.

•	Note the location of the tie-straps that secure the harness to the drive cables and to the sunroof module.

4. Cut the tie-straps and remove them.
5. Remove the wiring harness from the sunroof.

1. Install the wiring harness to the sunroof.
2. Connect the electrical connector to the following components:

2.1.	The sunroof control switch

2.2.	The sunroof express module

2.3.	The sunroof actuator

2.4.	The headliner electrical harness

3. Install the tie-straps.
4. Install the headlining trim finish panel. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
5. Inspect for proper operation of the sunroof. Refer to Sunroof Description and Operation .

Sunroof Wiring Harness Replacement New Motor

1. Place the sunshade in the full forward position.
2. Remove the headlining trim finish panel as necessary. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.

3.1.	The sunroof control switch

3.2.	The sunroof express module

3.3.	The sunroof motor

3.4.	The headliner electrical harness

Important: 

•	Note the location of the wiring harness.

•	Note the location of the tie-straps that secure the harness to the drive cables and to the sunroof module.

4. Cut the tie-straps and remove them.
5. Remove the wiring harness from the sunroof.

1. Install the wiring harness to the sunroof.
2. Connect the electrical connector to the following components:

2.1.	The sunroof control switch

2.2.	The sunroof express module

2.3.	The sunroof actuator

2.4.	The headliner electrical harness

3. Install the tie-straps.
4. Install the headlining trim finish panel. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
5. Inspect for proper operation of the sunroof. Refer to Sunroof Description and Operation .
