1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the sensor retainer and bolt assembly.
4. Remove the camshaft position sensor.

Important: Before installing the camshaft sensor, lubricate the new O-ring with clean engine oil.

1. Install the camshaft position sensor.
2. Install the sensor retainer and bolt assembly.

Tighten
Torque the bolt to 10 N·m (88 lb. in.).

3. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
