- Disconnect the blower motor resistor harness connector.
- Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
- Place the heater-A/C control in the VENT position.
- Place the blower switch in the inoperative position.
- Use a test lamp to probe between the blower motor resistor connector
terminal D (circuit 72) and ground:

- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Disconnect the heater-A/C control connector C 1.
- Inspect for a poor connection or an open in circuit 72
(LT BLU).
