J 38778 Door Trim Pad and Garnish Clip Remover

1. Position the seat to the full-up position.
2. Remove the bolts that secure the front seat frame to the floor. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
3. Rotate the seat rearward to access the heater relay (2).
4. Use J 38778 to disengage the push-in retainer (1) from the seat pan.
5. Disconnect the electrical harness connector (3) from the relay (2).
6. Remove the relay from the front seat.

1. Position the relay to the front seat.
2. Connect the electrical harness connector (3) to the relay (2).
3. Position the relay (2) on the frame and push in to attach the retainer (1)
4. Lower the seat.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

5. Install the bolts that secure the front bucket seat adjuster to the floor pan.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 42 N·m (31 lb ft).

6. Reposition the front seat to the original position.
