Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the overhead console, if equipped. Refer to Roof Console Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the sunshade anchors. Refer to Sunshade Anchor Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. Remove the front dome lamp, if equipped.
  4. Lower the front of the headliner enough to gain access to the antenna cable.

  5. Disconnect the antenna base lead.
  6. Loosen the antenna base nut.
  7. Remove the antenna base.
  8. If necessary, remove the mobile telephone antenna from the base.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1220096 Size: SH
  1. If necessary, install the mobile telephone antenna to the base. Hand tighten the antenna until no visible gap appears between the antenna and the base.
  2. Route the antenna base lead through the roof.
  3. Align the antenna base to the roof with the locator pin.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Tighten the antenna base bolt.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  5. Connect the antenna base lead.
  6. Install the sunshade anchors. Refer to Sunshade Anchor Replacement in Interior Trim.
  7. Install the headliner.
  8. Install the front dome lamp, if equipped.
  9. Install the overhead console, if equipped. Refer to Roof Console Replacement in Interior Trim.
