Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2005 🢒 Grand Prix 🢒 HVAC 🢒 HVAC Systems - Automatic 🢒 Air Conditioning (A/C) Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls-3.8L.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor.

    3. Object Number: 1246186 Size: SH
  3. Remove the refrigerant pressure sensor from the liquid line.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the new O-ring seal. Refer to O-Ring Replacement .

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1246186 Size: SH
  2. Install the refrigerant pressure sensor to the liquid line.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the sensor to 4.7 N·m (41 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connector to the A/C refrigerant pressure sensor.
  4. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls-3.8L .
