Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the front seat. Refer to Driver and Passenger Seat Replacement .
2. Remove the seat back recliner outer trim cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Recliner Outer Trim Panel Replacement .

Knob, Seat Back Recliner Release

Tip

1. Pull to remove the plastic knob.
2. When the knob is removed, it must be replaced with a new part.

Bezel, Seat Back Recliner Release

Tip

1. Unzip the seat back cushion cover and press the tabs inward on the bezel to release.
2. When the bezel is removed, it must be replaced with a new part.

Cover , Seat Back Cushion

Tip

1. Completely unzip the seat back cushion cover.
2. Disconnect the J-channel at the bottom of the seat back cushion cover.
3. Pull the seat back cushion cover and pad off the seat frame as an assembly.

Pad, Seat Back Cushion Cover

Tip

1. The pad is secured to the cushion cover with hook and loop fasteners. Pull apart to remove.
2. There is a felt pocket that is a loose part of the seat back cushion pad and must be kept with the cushion for installation.
