Important: Correct removal of seat covers with map pockets is necessary to avoid distorting the cardboard backing. Incorrect removal causes a distorted appearance of the seat cover.

1. Remove the front seat head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
2. For the Coupe :

•	Position the seat back to the most forward position to access the J-hook retainer.

•	Remove the release lever knob from the seat back lock.

•	Disconnect the J-hook retainer (1).

3. For the Sedan:

•	Remove the front bucket seat back. Refer to Front Seat Back Replacement .

•	Disconnect the J-hook retainer (1).




4. Remove the front seat back pad (2) and cover (1) from the front seat back frame.

1. Install the seat back pad (2) and cover (1) to the seat back frame.



2. For the Sedan:

•	Connect the J-hook retainer (1).

•	Install the front bucket seat back. Refer to Front Seat Back Replacement .

3. For the Coupe:

•	Position the seat back to the most forward position to access the J-hook retainer.

•	Connect the J-hook retainer (1).

•	Install the release lever knob to the seat back lock.

4. Install the head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
5. Reposition the front seat back to the original position.
