Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2005 🢒 Sunfire 🢒 Body 🢒 Body Front End 🢒 Air Cleaner Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls- 2.2L.
  2. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement in Engine Electrical.

    3. Object Number: 740821 Size: SH
  3. Remove the underhood electrical center push-in retainer (3) and reposition.
  4. Remove the clutch pedal reservoir, if equipped.

    5. Object Number: 748352 Size: SH
  5. Lift the front of the air cleaner mounting bracket (1) to disengage it from the air inlet duct (3).

    6. Object Number: 748350 Size: SH
  6. Slide the air cleaner mounting bracket forward to disengage the rear rubber mount (2).
  7. Remove the air cleaner mounting bracket (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 748352 Size: SH
  1. Position the air cleaner mounting bracket (1) to the vehicle.
  2. Push the air cleaner mounting bracket to the rear to engage the rubber mount.
  3. Place the front of the mounting bracket into the air duct (3).
  4. Install the clutch pedal reservoir, if equipped.

    5. Object Number: 740821 Size: SH
  5. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement in Engine Electrical.
  6. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls- 2.2L.
