Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle?

Go to Step 2

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle

1. Select diagnostic circuit check and then class 2 power mode on the scan tool.
2. Close all of the doors.
3. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
4. Wait 5 seconds, then turn the ignition OFF.
5. Wait approximately 10 minutes.

Did the scan tool display the RAP power mode and after 10 minutes the OFF Awake power mode?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections

Go to Step 3

1. With the scan tool observe the driver and passenger door ajar switches.
2. Open and close each door.

Does the scan tool display change from High to Low?

Go to Step 4

Go to Symptoms - Lighting Systems

1. With the scan tool observe the liftgate ajar switch.
2. Open and close the liftgate.

Does the scan tool display change from High to Low?

Go to Step 5

Go to Symptoms - Body Rear End

Replace the body control module (BCM). Refer to Control Module References for replacement, setup, and programming.

Did you complete the replacement?

Go to Step 6

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
