Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 891314 Size: SH
  1. Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling in SIR.
  2. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  3. Disconnect the warning lamp switch electrical connector (2).
  4. Remove the warning lamp switch mounting screw (1).
  5. Remove the switch from the park brake lever assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 891314 Size: SH
  1. Align the park brake warning lamp switch locating tab to the locating hole on the park brake lever assembly.
  2. Install the switch to the park brake lever.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the park brake warning lamp switch mounting screw (1).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  4. Connect the park brake warning lamp switch electrical connector (2).
  5. Install the front floor console. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  6. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling in SIR.
  7. Verify correct park brake warning lamp operation.
