Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 832001 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the EVAP canister purge valve (2).
  2. Remove the purge hose (3) from the EVAP canister purge valve (2).
  3. Remove the vacuum hose (4) from the EVAP canister purge valve (2).
  4. Remove the EVAP canister purge valve from the air cleaner housing.
  5. Inspect the EVAP canister purge valve and the EVAP purge system for carbon particle contamination before replacing the EVAP canister purgevalve.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 832001 Size: SH
  1. Install the EVAP canister purge valve (2) to the air cleaner housing.
  2. Connect the purge hose (3) to the EVAP canister purge valve (2).
  3. Connect the vacuum hose (4) to the EVAP canister purge valve (2).
  4. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the EVAP canister purge valve (2).
