Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2009 🢒 Vibe - AWD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Controls and Fuel - 1.8L (LAY) 🢒 Ignition Coil Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 2016641 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the 4 ignition coil connectors (1, 2, 3, 4).

    3. Object Number: 2016643 Size: SH
  3. Remove the 4 bolts and 4 ignition coils (1, 2, 3, 4).

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2016643 Size: SH
  1. Install the 4 ignition coils (1, 2, 3, 4) with the 4 bolts and tighten to 9.0 N·m (80 lb in).

    2. Object Number: 2016641 Size: SH
  2. Connect the 4 ignition coil connectors (1, 2, 3, 4).
  3. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement.
