Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 2016629 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector (1).

    3. Object Number: 2016630 Size: SH
  3. Remove the bolt and the camshaft position sensor (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2016633 Size: SH
  1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to the O-ring (1) on the camshaft position sensors.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2016630 Size: SH
  2. Install the camshaft position sensor (1) with the bolt and tighten to 10 N·m (7 lb ft).

    3. Object Number: 2016629 Size: SH
  3. Connect the camshaft position sensor connector (1).
  4. Inspect for oil leaks.
  5. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement.
