Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 2011759 Size: SH

    Note: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

  1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  2. Remove the glove compartment door assembly.
  3. Disconnect the connector.
  4. Remove the bolts (1, 3) and the AWD control ECU (2).

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2011759 Size: SH
  1. Install the AWD control ECU (2) with the bolts (1, 3) and tighten to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
  2. Connect the connector.
  3. Install the glove compartment door assembly.
  4. Connect the cable to the negative battery terminal. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  5. Check for AWD control ECU signal.
