1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.



2. Remove the oil filter.
3. Be sure that the gasket is removed with the filter.



4. Using a 12 mm hexagon wrench remove the oil filter adapter (1).
5. Clean the oil filter mounting surface.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the oil filter adapter (1).



2. Be sure the gasket is in place and install the filter.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Start the vehicle and check for leaks.
