Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement AWD
                    
Removal Procedure
- Remove the rear knuckle. Refer to 
Knuckle Replacement 
.
 
- Remove the dust deflector (2).
 
- Remove the 4 bolts (2,3,4,5).
 
- Remove the wheel bearing and hub assembly.
 
Installation Procedure
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Install the wheel bearing and hub assembly and the 4 bolts (2,3,4,5).
 
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 56 N·m (41.3 lb ft).
- Use a hydraulic press in order to install a NEW dust deflector.
 
- Install the rear knuckle. Refer to 
Knuckle Replacement 
.
 
                            Rear Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement FWD
                    
Removal Procedure
- If the vehicle has rear drum brakes, remove the brake drum. Refer to 
Brake Drum Replacement
.
 
If the vehicle has rear disc brakes, remove the rear brake rotor. Refer to 
Rear Brake Rotor Replacement
.
- If the vehicle has ABS, disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor connector (3).
Position the connector to the side.
 
- Remove the 4 bolts (1, 2, 4, 5).
 
- Remove the wheel bearing and hub assembly.
 
Installation Procedure
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Install the wheel bearing and hub assembly and the 4 bolts (1, 2, 4, 5).
 
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 61 N·m (45.0 lb ft).
- If the vehicle has ABS, connect the rear wheel speed sensor connector (3).
 
- If the vehicle has rear drum brakes, install the brake drum. Refer to 
Brake Drum Replacement
.
 
If the vehicle has rear disc brakes, install the rear brake rotor. Refer to 
Rear Brake Rotor Replacement
.
- If the vehicle has ABS, perform the vehicle system check. Refer to 
Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle
