Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2009 🢒 Wave 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 1.6L (LXT) 🢒 Exhaust Manifold Installation

    Object Number: 1291216 Size: SH
  1. Install the exhaust manifold and gasket.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the exhaust manifold retaining nuts and tighten in the sequence shown.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the exhaust manifold retaining nuts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the exhaust manifold nuts to the catalytic converter.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the exhaust manifold nuts to 40 N·m (30 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1291202 Size: SH
  4. Install the heat shield.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the heat shield bolts to 13 N·m (10 lb ft).

  5. Connect the oxygen sensor connector.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
