Removal Procedure
  1. Open the hood.

    2. Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Disconnect the battery.

    3. Object Number: 1945776 Size: SH
  3. Remove the evaporative emission vent solenoid valve.
    4. • Remove the wiring harness plug (2).
    • Remove the rubber retainer (3) from the bracket.
    • Disconnect the line (1) from intake manifold.
    • Disconnect the purging air line from the evaporative emission vent solenoid valve.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the evaporative emission vent solenoid valve.
    2. • Connect the purging air line to the evaporative emission vent solenoid valve.
    • Connect the line to the intake manifold.
    • Install the rubber retainer to the bracket.
    • Install the wiring harness plug.
  2. Connect the battery.
  3. For programming procedures, refer to Control Module References .
  4. Close the hood.
