Makes 🢒 Saturn 🢒 2008 🢒 Astra 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Controls and Fuel - 1.8L (2H0) 🢒 Camshaft Position Actuator Solenoid Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Place a drain pan underneath.
  3. Disconnect the wiring harness from the cylinder head.

    4. Object Number: 1945812 Size: LH
  4. Remove the 2 valves, camshaft position actuator solenoid (3).
    5. • Disconnect the 2 wiring harness plugs (1).
    • Remove the 2 bolts (2).
    • Remove the 2 camshaft position actuator solenoid valves from the bearing support.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the 2 valves, camshaft position actuator solenoid.
    2. • Insert the 2 camshaft position actuator solenoid valves all the way.
    • Coat the seal rings with clean engine oil.

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

    • Tighten the 2 bolts.

    Tighten
    Tighten the 2 bolts to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

    • Connect the 2 wiring harness plugs.
  2. Connect the wiring harness to the cylinder head.
  3. Inspect the engine oil level and correct if necessary.
  4. Close the hood.
