Removal Procedure
- Open the hood.
Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.
- Disconnect the battery.
- Remove the evaporative emission vent solenoid valve.
| • | Remove the wiring harness plug (2). |
| • | Remove the rubber retainer (3) from the bracket. |
| • | Disconnect the line (1) from intake manifold. |
| • | Disconnect the purging air line from the evaporative emission vent solenoid valve. |
Installation Procedure
- Install the evaporative emission vent solenoid valve.
| • | Connect the purging air line to the evaporative emission vent solenoid valve. |
| • | Connect the line to the intake manifold. |
| • | Install the rubber retainer to the bracket. |
| • | Install the wiring harness plug. |
- Connect the battery.
