Removal Procedure
  1. Open the hood.

    2. Object Number: 1945807 Size: SH
  2. Remove the camshaft position sensor of the intake camshaft (2).
    3. • Disconnect the wiring harness plug (1).
    • Remove the bolt.
  3. Remove the camshaft position sensor of the exhaust camshaft (4).
    4. • Disconnect the wiring harness connector (3).
    • Disconnect the wiring harness of the oxygen sensor from the bracket.
    • Remove the bolt.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  1. Install the camshaft position sensor of the exhaust camshaft.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

    • Connect the wiring harness of the oxygen sensor to the bracket.
    • Install the wiring harness plug.
  2. Install the camshaft position sensor, intake camshaft.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  3. Connect the wiring harness plug.
  4. Close the hood.
