Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1945764 Size: SH
  1. If equipped with air conditioning, remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  2. If equipped with air conditioning, remove the compressor.
    3. • Remove the 3 bolts (1).
    • Set aside.
  3. Place a drip pan underneath.

    4. Object Number: 1937101 Size: SH
  4. Remove the oil pressure switch/sensor.
    5. • Disconnect the wiring harness connector.
    • Push back the heat shield.
    • Remove the oil pressure switch/sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  1. Install the oil pressure switch/sensor.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the oil pressure switch/sensor to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

    • Install the wiring harness plug.
    • Install the heat shield.
  2. Vehicles with air conditioning--Attach the compressor.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the 3 bolts to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).

  3. If equipped with air conditioning, attach the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  4. Lower the vehicle by its full height.
  5. Inspect the engine oil level and correct if necessary.
  6. Close the hood.
