Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement Sedan

Caution: Refer to Express Down Feature Caution in the Preface section.

1. Lower the window.
2. Remove front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .



3. Remove water vapor barrier.

•	Release 2 loom of cables clips.

•	Remove 2 front door retainer base inner paneling (1).




4. Remove belt inner sealing strip.

Pull sealing strip carefully from behind beginning at the top.




5. Remove belt outer sealing strip.

Remove sealing strip carefully from behind beginning from the top and take out from the rearview mirror backwards.

6. Drill out the rear front door window channel.

Drill out 2 rivets (1).

7. Remove the window channel.
8. Remove front door window.

Remove 2 bolts (2).





Important: Lower the window to the lowest position and remove from the window channel (3)

9. Remove window.



10. Loosen the power window regulator.

•	Drill out 6 rivets.

•	Disconnect wiring harness plug.

11. Remove the power window regulator.

1. Install the power window regulator.

•	Install 6 rivets

•	Connect wiring harness plug.

2. Positioning front door window.

Position in lower window channel.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

3. Install the front door window.

Tighten
Tighten 2 bolts to 7 N·m (62 lb in).

4. Guide the window upwards and position evenly in the weatherstrip.

Important: Observe installation direction.

5. Install rear front door guide rail.

•	Install 2 rivets.

•	Position in lower guide rail.

6. Install belt outer sealing strip.
7. Install belt inner sealing strip.

Important: Damaged water vapor barrier must be replaced.

8. Install water vapor barrier.

•	Apply adhesive tape to door frame according to the shaded areas shown.

•	Cut foil to size

•	Provide cut-outs for inside handle with bearing supports and, if available, manual window actuation .

•	Install water vapor barrier without creases.

•	Install 4 clips.

•	Install 2 loom of cables.

•	Install 2 front door retainer base inner paneling.

9. Install front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
10. Close the window.

Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement Coupe

Caution: Refer to Express Down Feature Caution in the Preface section.

1. Lower the window.
2. Remove front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .



3. Partly loosen water vapor barrier.

•	Remove 2 holding angles.

•	Remove 2 pins.





Important: Remove the window channel weatherstrip from inside with the appropriate tool.

4. Remove outer belt sealing strip.

•	Remove window channel weatherstrip from the rear window frame bracket.

•	Remove fastening clip from the outer window frames.

5. Remove rear window channel.

Drill out 2 blind rivets.

6. Remove rear window weatherstrip channel.




Important: Guide the window so in position that the fastening bolts align with the top mounting holes.

7. Loosen front door window.

•	Remove the 2 bolts.

•	Remove window regulator from its guide.

Important: Lower the window and simultaneously tilt the window forwards.

8. Remove front door window.

•	Remove window from the window regulator guide.

•	Remove window upwards.

9. Remove window regulator.

Drill out 6 blind rivets.




10. Remove window regulator.

Disconnect wiring harness plug.

1. Insert the window regulator.

Connect the wiring harness plug.

2. Install the window regulator.

Rivet on 6 blind rivets.

Important: Raise the window and simultaneously tilt the window forwards.

3. Install front door window.

•	Position the window downwards.

•	Install window in window regulator guide.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Important: Guide the window so in position that the fastening bolts align with the mounting holes. Fasten front door window.

4. Install the front door window.

Tighten
Tighten the 2 bolts to 7 N·m (62 lb in).

•	Install the window winder arm in the window channel.

•	Guide the window upwards and place evenly in weatherstrip.

Tighten
Tighten the 2 bolts to 7 N·m (62 lb in).

5. Position the rear window channel.
6. Install the rear window channel.

Rivet on 2 blind rivets.

7. Install belt outer sealing strip.

•	Install fastening clip on the outer window frame.

•	Install in window channel weatherstrip in the window channel bracket.

•	Install the window channel weatherstrip onto the door folding.

8. Install the water vapor barrier.

•	Install 2 holding angles.

•	Install 2 pins.

9. Install the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
10. Close the window.
