Removal Procedure
  1. Position the transmission control lever into 4th gear.
  2. Release the bolt (1) for the relay point clamp.

    3. Disconnect the relay point from the selector lever lever.

  3. Disconnect the selector lever boot (2) from the bulkhead.

    4. Object Number: 1940489 Size: SH

Installation Procedure

    Important: Push the lever boot onto the gearshift rod without twisting it.

  1. Attach the selector lever boot (2) to the bulkhead.

    2. Important: Do not tighten the clamping screw (1).

  2. Attach the transmission relay point to the selector lever.

    3. Object Number: 1940489 Size: SH
  3. Adjust the transmission selector lever link. Refer to Selector Lever Link Adjustment .
