Removal Procedure
Remove the backup lamp switch (1).
| • | Disconnect the wiring harness plug from the backup lamp switch. |
| • | Remove the backup lamp switch. |
Installation Procedure
- Install the backup lamp switch.
- Inspect the transmission fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Check .
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
Important: Use a new seal ring.
| • | Tighten the backup lamp switch (1). |
Tighten
Tighten to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).
| • | Connect the wiring harness plug to the backup lamp switch. |
