KM-527-A Adjuster
Important: Do not remove the bolt.
Loosen the bolt (1) for relay point clamp.
| • | Remove the 4 bolts (2). | 
| • | Pull out the transmission control lever assembly with selector lever link from the bulkhead. | 
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
Important: Note selector lever link bellows in bulkhead.
Tighten
Tighten the 4 bolts (2) to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
| • | Push the transmission control lever to the left. | 
| • | Lock the transmission control lever and shift lever housing with KM-527-A (1). | 
| • | Turn the selector lever link counterclockwise. | 
| • | Direction of 3rd gear. | 
| • | Engage the locking pin (1) in the adjusting bore in the transmission cover (arrow). | 
Important: Do not change position of selector lever link.
Tighten
Tighten bolt  (1) to 12 N·m (106 lb in) plus 180-225 degrees. 
Detach KM-527-A (1)
Important: The locking pin in the adjusting bore hole releases automatically when first shifted in R direction. If necessary, release the locking pin by hand.
