Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Sedan

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1937543 Size: LF
  1. Remove the front door pull handle (3).

    2. Release upwards with a plastic wedge.

  2. Remove the upper extension trim (1).
    3. • Release the 3 clips.
    • Disconnect the wiring harness plug, if equipped.
  3. Remove the inside door panel actuator.

    4. Release with a plastic wedge.

    Important: Use a plastic wedge to remove the front side door trim panel (1).

  4. Remove the front side door trim panel.

    5. Remove the 7 bolts (arrows).

  5. Remove the front side door trim panel.
    6. • Release the 5 clips.
    • Disconnect the wiring harness plug.
    • Disconnect the cable inside door actuator (arrows).
    • Remove the door trim panel.

Installation Procedure
  1. Insert the front side door trim panel.
    2. • Connect the wiring harness plug.
    • Connect the cable, door actuation from inside.
    • Install the 5 clips.

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the front side door trim panel.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the 7 bolts to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  3. Install the upper extension trim.
    4. • Connect the wiring harness plug.
    • Install the 3 clips.
  4. Install the trim door panel actuator.
  5. Install the front door pull handle.

Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Coupe

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1937543 Size: LF

    Important: Danger of damage. Release with designated tool.

  1. Remove the upper extension trim (1).
    2. • Release the 3 clips.
    • Disconnect the height adjuster wiring harness plug.
  2. Remove the front door pull handle.
  3. Remove the inside door panel handle.

    4. Object Number: 1941863 Size: LF
  4. Remove the front side door trim panel.

    5. Remove the 8 screws (arrows).

    Important: Use a plastic wedge to remove the inner paneling (1).

  5. Remove the front door trim panel.
    6. • Release the 5 clips.
    • Disconnect the window actuation wiring harness plug switch.
    • Disconnect the inside door actuator cable.
    • Remove the door trim panel with the inner window channel strip.
  6. Remove the power window switch.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the power window switch.
  2. Install the front door inner paneling.
    3. • Install the cable, door actuation from inside.
    • Connect the power window actuation wiring harness plug switch.
    • Install the 5 clips.

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Fasten the front door trim panel.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the 8 bolts to 1.5 N·m (13 lb in).

  4. Install the inside door panel handle.
  5. Install the front door pull handle.
  6. Install the upper extension trim.
    7. • Connect the speaker wiring harness plug.
    • Install the 3 clips.
