Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the hood closure stud.

    2. Remove the stud assembly.


    Object Number: 1937602 Size: SH
  2. Disassemble the hood closure stud (4).
    3. • Remove the disc nut (1).
    • Remove the coil spring (2) and washer (3) off of the stud.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1937602 Size: SH
  1. Install the hood closure stud (4).
    2. • Install the washer (3) and coil spring (2).
    • Install the disc nut (1).
    • Note the basic setting.

    Specification
    X = 43 /-3 mm (1.69/-0.11 in)

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the hood closure stud.

    3.    Important: Remember to grease stud.

    • Install the stud assembly.
    • Lock the disc nut with the stud.

    Tighten
    Tighten the disc nut to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).
