Makes 🢒 Saturn 🢒 2008 🢒 Astra 🢒 Seats 🢒 Seat Hardware, Trim, and Upholstery 🢒 Driver or Passenger Seat Back Cushion Latch Release Cable Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the upholstery covering for front seat backs. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1944569 Size: SH
  2. Remove the front seat backrest adjustment lever.
    3. 2.1. Remove the clamp.
    2.2. Remove the lever in direction of arrow.
  3. Remove the cover for front seat backrest adjustment lever (1).

    4. Unclip the 4 clips.

  4. Remove the release cable for front seat backrest.
    5. 4.1. Remove the cable tie (arrow).
    4.2. Release the upper release cable (1).
    4.3. Unclip the 4 clips from the upper release cable bracket.
    4.4. Remove the 2 retaining rings (2), lower the release cable.
    4.5. Unclip the 2 lower guide clamps (3).
  5. Release and remove the lower release cable.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the release cable for front seat backrest.
    2. 1.1. Install the lower release cable.
    1.2. Install the 2 retaining rings, lower release cable.
    1.3. Clip in the 2 lower guide clamps.
    1.4. Clip in the 4 clips in the upper release cable bracket.
    1.5. Install the upper release cable.
    1.6. Install the cable ties.
  2. Install the cover for the front seat backrest adjustment lever.

    3. Clip in the 4 clips.

  3. Install the fastening clamp, release the lever.
  4. Install the front seat backrest adjustment lever.
    5. 4.1. Install the clamp, release the lever.
    4.2. Insert the lever.
  5. Install the upholstery covering for front seat backrest. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover Replacement .
