Removal Procedure
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Raise the vehicle by its full height.

    3. Object Number: 1936581 Size: SH
  3. Drain the coolant.
    4. • Place a drain pan underneath.
    • Install a suitable hose to the drain connection (2).
    • Open the coolant drain screw (1).
    • Drain the coolant.
    • Close the coolant drain screw.
  4. Lower the vehicle by its full height.

    5. Object Number: 1945828 Size: SH
  5. Remove the coolant temperature sensor.
    6. • Disconnect the wiring harness plug (2).
    • Disconnect the retaining clamp (1).

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the coolant temperature sensor.
    2. • Lock the retaining clamp.
    • Install the wiring harness plug.
  2. Fill and bleed the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  3. Close the hood.
