Special Tools

    • KM-446 Installer Drift
    • KM-557-A /KM-557-2 Remover

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the axle shaft. Refer to Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1938512 Size: SH

    Important: Do not damage the sealing surfaces.

  2. Remove the axle shaft seal ring.

    3. Remove the axle shaft seal ring with KM-557-A  (2) and KM-557-2  (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1938513 Size: SH
  1. Install the axle shaft seal ring.
    2. • Coat the axle shaft seal ring with transmission fluid.
    • Install the axle shaft seal ring flush with KM-446  (1).
  2. Install the axle shaft. Refer to Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement .
  3. Inspect the transmission fluid level. Refer to Transmission Fluid Check .
