Makes 🢒 Saturn 🢒 2006 🢒 ION 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Electrical 🢒 Supercharger Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1381507 Size: SH
  2. Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) tube and EVAP valve.

    3. Object Number: 1339289 Size: SH
  3. Remove the throttle body and gasket. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly Replacement .
  4. Remove the supercharger inlet pressure sensor (SCIP).
  5. Disconnect the vacuum brake booster hose.
  6. Remove the intercooler fill neck bracket bolts.

    7. Object Number: 1339285 Size: SH
  7. Remove the supercharger . Remove the gasket if damaged.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1339285 Size: SH
  1. Install the supercharger gasket.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the supercharger and bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the intercooler fill neck bracket bolts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Connect the vacuum brake booster hose.
  5. Install the SCIP sensor and bolt.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  6. Install the throttle body. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly Replacement .
