Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1686667 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the boost control solenoid vacuum hoses.
  2. Disconnect the boost control solenoid connector.
  3. Remove the boost control solenoid retaining nut.
  4. Remove the boost control solenoid.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1686667 Size: SH
  1. Install the boost control solenoid and nut.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  2. Connect the boost control solenoid connector.
