Purpose
The purpose of this bulletin is to update all 2000/2001 L-Series Chassis Service
Manuals at your location.
Please obtain all the 2000/2001 L-Series Chassis Service Manuals at your location
and make the necessary updates as indicated below.
| • | On page 16 and 193, locate "Front Strut-to-Knuckle (final torque)"
torque specification. |
| 1. | Cross out 90 Nm and 66 ft-lbs. |
| 2. | Write in 100 Nm and 73 ft-lbs. |
| • | On page 17 and 244, locate "Rear Axle Control Arm Bracket-to-Body
Bolts" torque specfications and write in 30° - 45° after each
torque specification. |
| • | On page 17 and 245, locate "Rear Hub-to-Knuckle" torque specfications
and write in 30° - 45° after each torque specification. |
