Circuit Description
The ECM monitors battery voltage continuously after power-up. This code will set if the ECM sees the voltage to be below 2.5 volts. If battery voltage is not actually low, but because of a circuit fault, the ECM sees it as low, 14 volts will be selected as a default battery voltage.
DTC Parameters
This DTC P0560 will set when:
| • | Vehicle speed is present |
| • | Engine running greater than 3 min. |
| • | ECM see battery voltage less than 2.5 volts |
| • | Above condition met for 180 milliseconds |
P0560 is a (type D) DTC.
