  1. Remove the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement.
  2. Remove the rear seat back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement.

Rear Seat Latch Release Handle Screw (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
5 N·m (44 lb in)

Rear Seat Latch Release Handle Assembly

Procedure

    • Disconnect the cable and note the cable routing for installation.
    • The cable must be routed under the rear seat back stowage latch housing.
    • The white area of the cable must fit into the seat back frame hooks.
