    2. • Worn or damaged splines
    • Damaged threads
    • Excessive wear or scoring on the sealing surface
    • Worn gear teeth
  2. Inspect the input gear (214) for the following conditions:
    3. • Worn or damaged splines
    • Excessive wear or scoring on the sealing surface
    • Worn gear teeth

  3. Inspect the bearing rollers and races for the following conditions:
    4. • Pitting
    • Scoring or grooves
    • Excessive wear or heat discoloration

  4. Inspect the bearings for bent roller cages.
