- Turn the ignition OFF.
- Connect a scan tool.
- Turn the ignition to the ON position.
- Using the scan tool, inspect for any DTCs in the body control
module (BCM).
Does the scan tool show any DTCs?

- Turn the Ignition OFF.
- Disconnect the radio.
- Turn the ignition to the ON position.
- Place the headlamp switch in PARK.
- Using a J 39200
digital multimeter (DMM) , measure the voltage from CKT 1382 (PPL/WHT)
at the radio to ground.
Is the voltage withing the specified range?

- Remove the radio. Refer to

- Send the radio in for repair.
Is the repair complete?

- Locate and repair the open in CKT 1382 (PPL/WHT) between
the radio connector and the BCM.
- If no open is found replace BCM. Refer to
Body Control Module Replacement
in Body Control System.
