Drive Belt Replacement Accessory

1. Use a wrench and rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise.



2. Remove the drive belt.
3. Slowly release the tension on the wrench.
4. Clean the drive belt pulley grooves.

1. Route the drive belt over all of the pulleys except the idler pulley.



2. Use a wrench and rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise.
3. Install the belt onto the idler pulley.
4. Slowly release the tension, then remove the wrench.



5. Confirm that the drive belt is properly positioned in the pulley grooves.

Drive Belt Replacement A/C

1. Remove the accessory drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
2. Rotate the air conditioning (A/C) drive belt tensioner clockwise in order to relieve the belt tension.
3. Remove the A/C drive belt.
4. Clean the A/C drive belt pulley grooves.

1. Install the A/C drive belt over the balancer pulley.
2. Rotate the A/C belt tensioner clockwise to install the belt.
3. Install the belt onto the A/C compressor and tensioner pulleys.
4. Inspect the drive belt to ensure that the belt is properly aligned to the grooves of the pulleys.
5. Install the accessory drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
