Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2008 🢒 Express 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Controls and Fuel - 6.6L 🢒 Primary Fuel Filter Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Drain the fuel from the filter assembly. Refer to Water-in-Fuel Draining .
  2. Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter assembly.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  4. Remove the primary fuel from the bracket.

    5. Object Number: 1663150 Size: SH
  5. Remove the primary filter-to-bracket bolts.
  6. Remove the primary filter assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1663150 Size: SH
  1. Install the primary filter assembly.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  2. Connect the electrical connectors.
  3. Connect the fuel lines.
  4. Prime the fuel system. Refer to Primary Fuel Filter Replacement .
  5. Start the vehicle and inspect for leaks.
