Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 829015 Size: SH
  1. Place a drain pan under the transmission oil cooler lines.
  2. Remove the oil cooler lines from the transmission.

    3. Object Number: 787959 Size: SH
  3. Unclip and remove the oil cooler lines (1) from the retaining brackets (2).
  4. Remove the oil cooler lines from the radiator and the transmission. Refer to Oil Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement .

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 787959 Size: SH
  1. Install the oil cooler lines to the vehicle.
  2. Install the oil cooler lines to the radiator.
  3. Install the oil cooler lines (1) to the retaining brackets (2).

    4. Object Number: 829015 Size: SH
  4. Install the oil cooler lines to the transmission and the radiator. Refer to Oil Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement .
  5. Check and fill the transmission to the proper level with DEXRON III fluid. Refer to Fluid Capacity Specifications .
  6. With the engine running, inspect the oil cooler lines for leaks.
