Preliminary Procedures

1. Open the liftgate.
2. Remove the interior liftgate garnish molding. Refer to Liftgate Garnish Molding Replacement .
3. Remove the rear spoiler. Refer to Rear Spoiler Replacement .

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

High Mount Stop Lamp Assembly

Procedure

Remove the high mounted stop lamp from the bottom side of the rear spoiler.
